Adventures of a Video Game Addict
since it was my birthday and i got some cash, i decided to go shopping for a gift for myself. i decided i wanted to get a vintage gaming system to add to my growing collection. (i got tons of stuff from commodors and collecos to atari jaguar and a boxed neogeo). this time i was hoping to find a Brand New Super Nintendo system which fetches for 300$ on ebay, a boxed Sega Saturn system which fetches 150-200$ on ebay, and a Sega Nomad which also fetches around 150-200$ for a new one on ebay. I started off at Rehab complex but didnt find them there, i went to the old souk in Kuwait city, i found the original first generation gameboy but they wouldnt sell me cuz the guy incharge of the videogame section was on vacation. i then passed by souk al kabeer, muthana, the street between muthana and sheraton.. and nothing, couldnt find them there also. Seems the left over vintage game systems are being bought by people who cant afford the new systems not knowing the infact these vintage systems could sell for a lot more then an xbox or ps2.
